“SIKHS IN CLINICAL RESEARCH’, a minority-serving organization is designed to support the next generation of ethnically diverse professionals who will lead future clinical trials. This is imperative to continue to break down the existing gap to reduce health disparities. There is a shortage of investigators, research nurses, and coordinators representing diverse communities to face the challenges of trust and language barriers among patients.
Research Training
Our founder company NLCR provides a 12-week online clinical research training program. The program provides an affordable fee with scholarships, thereby eliminating a common concern – a lack of financial availability – that minority students might experience. The training is very flexible and designed by keeping in mind the people who often cite conflicting work schedules as reasons that prevent them from growing into research careers. NLCR provides skill training, as well as individual mentoring, to increase diversity.

Testimony:
"Coming to the United States from Eastern Europe, Preet initially faced a language barrier, but Ekta made things easy for her to understand, helping her get started in the US healthcare system.
Preet got the full scholarship, felt fully supported throughout the learning journey with Ekta and had the opportunity to meet many other experts in the field through the online classes and networking events. We are excited to announce that Preet has landed a job as clinical support staff and is passionate about continuing to grow in the medical field, with a strong desire to break into research."
